Tangonale with the Duo Müller and Funes.

When Sunday, 14. June 2026 11:00
Where Nendeln, Hagenhaus, Peter Kaiser Konzertsaal

Raúl Funes from Mendoza, Argentina, received his training at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg. Daniel Müller from Tyrol studied guitar at the Tyrolean State Conservatory and subsequently at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna.

After numerous performances and awards as soloists, their paths crossed in 2016 in the artists’ lounge of a festival. Their strong affinity for the sound of the guitar and their passion for discovering music for two guitars were the motivation and reason to play together. Two months later, the duo performed its first concert.

This was followed by concert tours to Germany, Argentina, Spain, and Romania, as well as numerous video productions and appearances on radio and television.

“We play music that moves us and that gives us, as a duo, the opportunity to sound like a single instrument.”

The repertoire of the Duo Müller–Funes ranges from music from Argentina, Brazil, and Cuba to Spanish music. In this way, the guitar becomes a bridge between cultures.

Their latest album is “Musica Latina,” featuring works by Latin American composers.
